I've Been Out of Work Since Last Year & Need Help Keeping Our Internet so My Kids Can Do School!
My Story:
I'm a single mom with four young children at home. They're all under the age of 8 years old, and even though it's a handful to take care of all of the sometimes, I wouldn't trade that job for the world. My 8-year-old has Spina Bifida, so they require extra attention and care. All of them have been doing their schooling from home, and it's been difficult to keep up with all of our utilities because everything is running all the time basically.
On top of all of my children being home from school, I have been out of work since March of 2020 and can't get back to work while also taking care of them. We've fallen behind on a lot of our bills as a result, and I'm really worried that we could be facing some shut-offs very soon. Just when I thought it couldn't get any more difficult, I got my taxes back from last year, and my children's fathers had claimed them on their taxes so now I find myself owing on my taxes as opposed to getting a tax refund. It's already started to affect my ability to take care of all of our bills, and I really need help catching up on our Wi-Fi bill so that my children can continue their schooling from home.
Simply out, if we lose our internet access, my children will lose their ability to attend school and will fall behind. I can't allow that to happen because I know that their education is the only way forward for them. So, I'm asking for this urgent assistance with our internet bill so that they can continue to do their schooling online. I would be so relieved and grateful to get this help, and it would do a lot to get us back on the right track going forward. Thank you for your generosity and kindness.
