User-submitted image - Click to see real sizeI cannot even begin to express how grateful I am. I cant put into words how much I appreciate the help. It is such a big burden lifted off my shoulders. My kids mean the world to me and now I can sleep a little more easy, as I have been completely stressed out. Its people like you who make me believe in the good of this world. Everyone has issues and everyone deserves a second chance, and I got just that because of you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤️

My Kids & I Are on the Brink of Homelessness After I Lost My Job to COVID!

My Story:

I'm a single mother of two wonderful children who are 13 years old and 5 months old. My oldest loves basketball, painting, and of course, Tik Tok. She's also an excellent student and makes the honor roll every year and is about to finish 7th Grade this year. My 5-month-old came as kind of a surprise, but I'm so thankful for him and nothing could ever change that. He really loves Cocomelon, which to be honest, I could do without; however, he's at his cutest when he's making noises, trying to crawl around, and when he's rolling around too.

Before the pandemic, I always had enough to take care of my monthly bills. However, when the pandemic began, I was furloughed almost immediately, and then after three months, I was completely laid-off. Since then, it's been all about just trying to play catch up on all of my bills. With unemployment and the stimulus, I was able to get relatively caught up on my bills, but then a car accident drained my savings and everything else. It's been impossible to catch up since then, and I really need help before my landlord starts the eviction process and before I lose my electricity.

I'm doing my best to find work again, but it's been hard while also taking care of my infant at home. This assistance would just do so much to help me breathe easier knowing that we'll be able to keep the roof over our heads. This would be the chance that we need to get through this bad situation, and I would be so grateful for this help, especially right now when we're on the brink of losing our home. I'm a firm believer that everyone falls sometimes and that it just takes that one person to help you up to really change your life. To everyone who changes our lives, I want to say 'thank you' in advance. We will never forget this.
