I'm an Essential Worker, but Unexpected Expenses are Threatening to Keep Me out of Work! Please Help

My Story:

I'm an essential worker, working hand-in-hand with the nurses and physicians on the frontlines in the battle against Covid-19. My position is as Administrative Associate in Labor and Delivery and am the nurses go-to person for essential supplies. I take a lot of pride in my position and care very deeply about patient care. I work long 12 hour shifts regularly and work hard, but I wouldn't trade it for anything else.

Even though I work hard, I still live paycheck to paycheck, and I have a hard time of keeping up with all of my monthly bills when unexpected expenses come up. Recently, I paid off my car only to find that my engine block needed to be replaced. Instead of replacing it, I decided it would be a better option to sell my car for parts and to find a used one for cheaper. However, this led to my expenses increasing, as I had to take Ubers and Lyfts to and from work. On top of losing my car briefly, I also struggle with health problems that have kept me out of work every now and then. Both of these factors have really cut into my income, and subsequently, I'm behind on a lot of my bills. Right now, I'm worried about losing my car insurance because I'm several months behind and won't be able to drive without it.

If I can't get to and from work easily, then I'll lose my job and my livelihood. I really love what I do, and I want to get back to working hard to take care of my patients and my expenses, but I need help if I'm going to make it through this difficult period. I would be so grateful to be able to continue to do what I love, and I would be grateful for your support in getting out of this bad situation. Thank you all for your kindness and generosity!
