I cant say thank you enough for going out of your way to help a complete stranger! It really tells a lot about a person helping someone like myself in need. I know the world is not what we all want it to be right now but people like you bring sunshine on dark days. I try to do my part when I can, I work a lot of covid clinics to help get the world back to normal. My sons are looking forward to hopefully being in sports again this summer! And I hope to have my newborn son meet some of my family and friends who have not been able to due to the pandemic. We're Two Months Behind on Rent, & I Need Help Before We Lose Our Home Please!
My Story:
I'm a single mother with four sons at home. As you could imagine, our house is pretty hectic, especially with them all being home due to the pandemic. Lately, it's been hard to get by because their father hasn't been paying child support since he lost his job due to Covid-19. Without that income coming in, we've fallen behind on our rent and need help if we're going to avoid being evicted.
I'm an essential worker and am thankful to have been able to keep my job through the pandemic; however, I do have to rely pretty heavily on the child support coming in, so without it, it's been impossible to get by. I'm hoping that their father can get back to work soon so that those payments resume, but until that happens, I really need help if we're going to avoid being evicted. I'm two months behind on rent and am humbly asking for help with catching up please.
I'm doing everything I can to keep our heads above water, but so far, nothing has been enough to get us caught up. I've tried skipping meals and picking up overtime at work, but I'm still falling short. We will lose our home if we can't catch up soon, and if that happens, my kids and I will have nowhere to go except a shelter or the streets. This help would be lifesaving for my family, and I truly don't know how I could ever repay it. Thank you all for your kindness and compassion in advance. We will never forget this.
