My Car Broke Down & the Repairs Set Me Back a lot! Now, I'm Worried About Keeping My Home!
My Story:
I'm a single woman, and I live with my Labrador named Lucky. I work as a healthcare professional, and I enjoy my job a lot because I feel like I'm really making a difference in my community by providing educational materials and resources to people in need. My primary role at my job is to assist case managers and other medical staff with language interpretation. I also work part-time at the local hospital on the weekends as well. I stay pretty busy with work, but I love to spend time relaxing with my dog when I get the chance.
Even though I work two jobs, I've always lived pretty much paycheck to paycheck. I've been able to put a little bit aside to handle minor emergencies, but when my car broke down and required costly repairs, it was much more than I could handle. I had to get the repairs done because if I lose my car, then I'll have no way to get to and from work and won't be able to make a living. However, getting those repairs done has left me with almost nothing to use to pay my rent, and I'm worried that I could lose my home. I've worked out an extension with my landlord, but if I can't pay it by the deadline, then I'll come home to an eviction notice posted to my door.
I'm humbly asking for help with catching up on my rent. I'll be able to keep my home, and I'll be able to continue to work at the hospital. The stress of potentially losing my home is really weighing on me a lot, and I would be very relieved to get out of this precarious situation. I'm already taking steps to avoid a situation like this in the future, and this would keep me going in the right direction. I want to thank everyone who helps me to keep my home in advance for your support and kindness in my time of need.
