We Need Help Catching Up on Our utilities in Order to Keep Our Home Please!
My Story:
I'm a married father of two kids. My oldest is my stepson who is in college pursuing his degree in business right now, and my youngest is my 14-year-old stepdaughter who plays basketball for her high school team. She hasn't been able to play lately due to the restrictions in place, and she really misses it a lot. We also have five pets at home that we love and care for. I'm a veteran and work for the Postal Service, and my wife is an LPN who has been placed on hour reduction due to her private facility's guidelines.
Since the pandemic began and my wife's hours were reduced, we've had a hard time keeping up with all of our mortgage payments. Thankfully, we were able to apply for a mortgage forbearance program, and that's been just about the only thing that's allowed us to keep our home until now. However, we're coming to the end of that program and need to start paying the balance that we missed before it expires in a few months. If we can't pay it back, then we'll be foreclosed on and will lose our home. We're working hard to get together enough to pay back what we owe, but my wife's income is only just now starting to return to normal, so we're still behind. I know that if we can free up some of our income to go to what we owe by having our other bills caught up, then we'll be able to pay off our back-owed mortgage and keep our home. That's why I'm humbly asking for help with our electric bill and our phone/internet bill.
If we can get help with these two bills, it will do a lot to free up enough to go towards the mortgage that we owe back. Getting this help would save our home down the line, and it would allow my family to keep everything we've worked so hard for. It would be a blessing to be able to find our way out of this hardship, and with that being said, I promise to pay that blessing forward as best as I can when we're on our feet again. In the meantime, my family and I would like to thank you all in advance for your generosity and kindness.
