After My Children Lost Their Father, We Need Help Keeping Our Lights on Please!
My Story:
I'm a single mother with five children. Despite the hardship that they've face, they are passionate and full of life. They recently lost their father, and before that, they have faced a lot of heartache after losing their aunt and baby cousins as well. It's been difficult to get by, but we're strong, resilient, and my children have amazing hearts. Every day I wake up and do my best for them no matter what.
Losing their father has been extremely difficult both emotionally and financially. I've been unemployed since Covid-19 began, so his income was the only thing keeping us afloat. Ever two weeks, I have to decide between paying our utility bill or paying our rent. The choice most of the time has been our rent, and as a result, we've gotten significantly behind on our utility bills. We won't have any way of catching up in time to avoid a shut-off without help, so I'm humbly asking for help with our utility bill.
This assistance would bring us completely current again, and it would buy me the time that I need to get back to being self-sufficient. We'll begin to receive survivor benefits from the loss of my children's father, and those should do a lot to keep us going. My children have faced so much heartache and pain over the last few months, but this help would give them an opportunity to see some light in the darkness. It would do a lot to show them the good in life and the joy that others can bring. For that, I would be infinitely grateful to everyone who helps us during these dark times.
