We're Trying to Downsize After COVID, but We Need Help With Our Outstanding Bills First!

My Story:

I'm a recently separated mother of one rambunctious son. My 4-year-old is so full of life and loves cars, dinosaurs, and sharks. He's an amazing child, and I would do anything for him. Currently, I work full-time doing healthcare credentialing for a medical group, and I'm also a part-time student. Being a single mother, full-time worker, and a part-time student is difficult, but I have to do everything I can to provide for my son and I.

Prior to the pandemic, I was working at a medical group doing healthcare credentialing, but I was let go of when the pandemic began. I found a job doing the same thing I was doing but for a different medical group; however, I'm making significantly less than I once was, and I also lost out on a lot of income during the time I was unemployed. I'm already working on downsizing because my lease is up in March, but before then I have to find a way to catch up on our rent and other outstanding bills. I'm humbly asking for help with those expenses so that when it's time to downsize, we're able to. Specifically, I'm asking for help with our utility and car payments so that we can free up more money to get caught up on our rent.

Right now, the cost is too high for us to remain in our current apartment, so we're looking to downsize to be able to afford our rent comfortably. I'm doing my best to stay one step ahead of our situation and to be proactive, but unless we get caught up on our rent, then that'll be for nothing. Getting this help would allow us to get to a point where we can live within our means again, and we would be extremely grateful to anyone who helps us become self-sufficient again.
