I'm Back to Work After 7 Months, but I Need Help Catching Up on My Rent Please!
My Story:
I'm a single woman living alone, and I was out of work for 7 months due to Covid-19. Being out of work for so long got me significantly behind on my rent. I'm almost three months behind right now, and I'm in a pretty desperate situation.
I'm finally back to working at a manufacturing warehouse, but the other problem I'm facing is that my wages are being garnished for back taxes. This has cut into my paycheck and has caused me to get further and further behind on my rent. On top of all that, my health is deteriorating because I've been having to put off a hysterectomy surgery that I've had to put on hold due to not having the funds to pay for it. However, my biggest concern right now is keeping my home, and I'm asking for help with my rent so that I can remain in my home while I work hard to catch up on everything else.
I know that my situation right now is pretty dire, but this help would be a huge step in the right direction for me. I'll be able to pay the back taxes that I owe, keep up with all of my bills, and save enough for my surgery. But most importantly, I'll be able to keep my home and will avoid becoming homeless. I don't really have anyone to fall back on for help because almost everyone I know is in the same position that I'm in right now, so they're not really in a position to lend a hand. This extremely generous assistance would almost certainly keep me out of a cycle of debt and poverty that I would be able to recover from otherwise. Thank you all for your kindness and consideration in advance.
