This person has left the following thank you note:

This pandemic has been so hard on both myself and my children. This is the most I have struggled in my adult life, and it is been very hard. Once the pandemic started I had a significant reduction in my income due to the fact that I had to stay home with my children for virtual school. I went from $1300 a paycheck to $200 a paycheck, It was a major setback for me. This is a really hard time for everyone and I just want to thank each and every donor that was able to contribute to my families cause I appreciate each and every one of you and would like to say thank you.

My Kids Are Home from School, so My Hours Are Down. We Need Urgent Help to Keep Our Home Please!

My Story:

I'm a single mother raising five children on my own. My oldest is 10 years old and is incredibly mature for her age. She loves sports but hasn't been able to play at all due to the pandemic. I also have a wonderful diva of a 7-year-old who is bright and energetic. My next youngest is my 6-year-old who is as sweet as can be, and my youngest two are twins who will be 4 years old soon. As you could imagine, my household stays hectic, but I love it because my children are my entire world.

However, this pandemic has made it impossible to get by honestly. I was working full-time for a health insurance company before being forced to work fewer hours to stay home with my children because they're out of school. I'm thankful to still have work at all; however, my income is only a fifth of what it was, so we're struggling pretty badly. My expenses are more than my income, and I don't have any way of getting out of this situation until my children can go back to school again. I'm asking for help with our rent and electricity because those two things are vital to our lives.

I've worked hard to get our rent down to a manageable balance, but I won't zero it out before it's too late. We're also in danger of losing our electricity, and if that happens, my children will get behind in school and I'll lose my job. This would be a tremendous help in making sure that we don't lose everything to this pandemic. We're so close to crawling out of this situation, but we just need this short-term help to put us over the top. My kids will return to school soon enough, and I'll be able to provide for us on my own again when that happens. On behalf of my entire family, thank you all in advance for taking the time to support us. It means the world to us, and we will never forget the help we receive.
