I'm an Essential Worker & Single Mother. After Losing Hours, I Need Help With a Power Bill Please!
My Story:
I'm a devoted, loving single mother to a beautiful baby girl. She's my entire world, and I work hard every day to make sure that she has everything that she needs. I work as a pharmacy technician in one of the busiest pharmacies in the country. I'm normally exhausted and drained after work, but more than anything right now I'm scared to work during the pandemic due to health concerns. For that reason, I decided to reduce my hours a bit because I don't want to risk my health and my baby's health either.
Even with the reduced hours, I've been able to handle most of our bills, even if it's been a little tighter. However, this past winter has been unusually snowy and cold so far, so our heating bill has gone through the roof. I wasn't able to pay it and our rent in December, so I'm behind now and am in danger of losing service soon. I'm humbly asking for help with our heating bill for this past month because we can't afford to lose our heat during the winter.
I'm hoping that as a pharmacy worker, I'll be able to get the Covid-19 vaccine soon. If that happens, I'll be able to return to work without worrying about my health or my daughter's health, and I'll be able to get back to paying all of our bills on time, even if they're unexpectedly high. We would be extremely grateful to receive this help and will do our best to repay this generosity in the future to another family in need. Thank you for your understanding and compassion.
