After Getting Divorced & Pausing My Education Due to COVID, My Family & I Need Help with a Car Note!
My Story:
I am a recently single mother of two amazing children. My son will be 12 years old this month and my daughter turned 6 years old a couple of weeks ago. They both have hearts of gold and are very outgoing. They both love playing board games and UNO, and my youngest beats us in UNO every time! We also have a dog named Dottie, and she is 8 years old. As for myself, I was a hairstylist for 15 years and decided to go back to college to be a nurse in 2018, with an expected graduation date of May 2020. Then, COVID happened and the remaining 4 weeks of our clinicals were cancelled, and I didn't get to graduate.
While I'm disappointed not to have been able to finish school, I have recently been offered a job as a salon sales representative, and I am so excited because I have always wanted a career in sales. However, our main financial concerns began when my husband and I filed for divorce in October of 2020, and at the time, I wasn't working because I was attending school full-time still. Without a job prior to the pandemic, it's been impossible to find one now, especially with my children home from school. I'm behind on some of our bills and desperately need help if we're going to make it through this period.
Like I said, I'm starting a new job soon, but I'm worried my car will be repossessed before that happens. I'm asking for help with our car payment because my car is our only means of transportation, so it's crucial to my ability to work. My job will start in a few weeks, so if we can just make it until then, we would be forever grateful for the support. My family will never forget the generosity and kindness of the people who choose to help us in our greatest hour of need, and we would like to thank all of you for taking the time to help us.
