I Found Work Again, but We'll Lose Service Before I Can Collect a Paycheck & Need Help Please!
My Story:
I am a mom of two amazing kids! Both of them have huge hearts and are always trying to help me out in any way they can, from helping to clean the house, to making me smile on days they can tell are harder than others and everything in between! They also love to help others by donating their old clothes, toys, etc., and they also help distribute Christmas baskets with the Waterford Goodfellows to those in need every year. I've always worked hard to provide for them, and that's always been fairly easy to do.
However, when Covid-19 hit everything got a far more difficult. I was doing well enough to save up enough money for a small down payment on a house, but that was quickly depleted after I was laid-off in March. I was working at a country club, so when Covid-19 hit, it shut us down completely and laid me off as a result. I had to use my savings to pay our bills, but those were depleted even faster when my car also needed repairs. Now with almost nothing coming in in terms of unemployment, I desperately need help with our bills.
Specifically, I'm asking for help with our utility bill because we recently got a shut-off notice, and it's vital that we don't lose our service. My children are both in school remotely, so we need access to computers and electricity as well. I don't want them to fall behind in school just because I can't keep up with our bills. I've recently found a job as an essential worker, and I'll be starting soon. Once I can start collecting a paycheck again, then I'll be able to take care of all of our bills. In the meantime, we would be incredibly grateful to receive this help, and it would be a huge boost to my family financially, but also mentally and emotionally. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for your kindness and consideration.
