Where do I begin to express my gratitude? This has been an extremely trying time for not just me but for so many. I am beyond blessed and so grateful to every single one of you for opening your hearts and helping in a time of great struggle. I have been furloughed from my restaurant since November 13th 2020 and my bills have been piling up since then. I owe 2 months rent and March is coming up very quickly! You have NO IDEA how much this means to me and I want to thank you with all my heart for your caring and generosity. I plan on paying it forward as soon as I am caught up from this mess. I have more awesome news as well, my restaurant has gone up to 50% capacity and my boss was able to get me back on the schedule and I start back this Thursday February 18th after 3 very long months! I've Been Furloughed AGAIN Thanks to COVID! Please Help Me Keep My Home.
My Story:
I'm a single woman living alone, and I'm in a pretty desperate situation now that my restaurant has furloughed me again. Unemployment is gone, and there's no safety net for me anymore. I desperately need help if I'm going to keep my home.
I worked at my restaurant for ten years, and before this, I was able to make ends meet just fine. However, this pandemic has really hit us hard, and every time things start to look up, they inevitably fall apart again. Right now, I'm in a desperate situation and am in serious danger of becoming homeless. I don't know when my restaurant will reopen, so I need help to tide me over until I can at least get back to work. I would greatly appreciate help with my rent.
I know that if I lose my home, I will have an incredibly hard time recovering from that, and I'm terrified that I will be homeless soon if I can't get help. This pandemic has destroyed my ability to make a living and it's threatening to take my home from me too. I know that if I can just get a little bit of help soon, then I can avoid slipping into a cycle of inescapable poverty. Thank you all for your help and support during what has been the most difficult time in my life.
