COVID Has Forced Me to Quarantine with No Pay! We Need Help Making Our Rent Please!
My Story:
I'm a married mother of two wonderful kids, one of which still lives with us. In our free time, we enjoy spending time together, watching movies, playing board games, and exploring the countryside. I'm currently the only one working in our household, and I work for a non-profit that helps people with Autism.
We live paycheck to paycheck, and I was exposed to COVID recently. This has forced me to get tested and quarantine for two weeks, meaning that I'm out of work with no pay for that period. This interruption to our income is threatening to put us behind on our rent for December, and I'm worried that we'll never be able to catch up in time to avoid eviction. We need help if we're going to stay in good standing with our rent, so I'm asking for help with that expense.
We'll definitely be able to make it through this next month if we get this help because I will be back to work and out of quarantine soon. I'm trying to be as proactive as possible about or situation, and this would keep us from being homeless before the fact. We'll be able to remain self-sufficient thanks to this generosity, and we won't have to worry about keeping a roof over our heads for the foreseeable future. Thank you all for your consideration and compassion during these very chaotic times.
