This person has left the following thank you note:

To say thank you would be.an understatement. On Saturday, I delivered my daughter and two days later was forced to bring her home to a house without electricity or water. I have been fortunate to scour resources but this financial donation is the best possible news I could possibly have. I cannot put into words how beneficial this will be to my family and am overjoyed that I will be able to pay my obligations and restore normal living conditions to the four of us. Your donations are appreciated beyond words.

My Husband Lost His Job to COVID. I'm Pregnant, and We Can't Pay Rent. Please Help Us Keep Our Home

My Story:

I'm a stay-at-home mother, and I take care of our 2-year-old daughter and have another one on the way soon. My husband is the main provider for our family, and he works as a mechanical technician in the oil and gas industry. He's an immigrant and faces many of the challenges that come with that both in the workplace and in daily life. Nevertheless, we have always been able to make things work and make ends meet, at least until now.

The pandemic has closed my husband's work, and we have pretty much exhausted his employee stipend. We were completely unprepared for his job to be shutdown for this long, and without any idea of when he will return to work, we need some help in the short-term. We're asking for help with our rent and some utility bills as well.

With a baby on the way, it is important that we keep our heads above water financially because we can't afford to lose our home while caring for two toddlers. This help would keep us in good standing with all of our bills until my husband can get back to work or until he can find another job. I don't want to come home from the hospital with my newborn and have nothing to come back to because we were evicted. I know that we'll make it through this crisis if we can just get rid of this short-term uncertainty. Thanks to your generosity, we'll be able to give our newborn and our 2-year-old the stability that they need growing up. Thank you again, we will never forget this help.
