We've Got to Keep Our Kids In School Remotely, but Our Power Will Be Shut Off Tomorrow!
My Story:
We're a family of four, and my husband and I have a 10-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son together. Our 10-year-old is very active and is incredibly smart; she loves to read and does math for fun! Our son is also incredibly bright and active, and we all love to go on trips together to explore our town. Currently, I stay home to take care of our children, and my husband works as a manager at a local grocery store.
Recently, we found out that I was pregnant and were very excited; however, it turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy, and I had to have surgery which led to my husband being out of work to care for our children. We live paycheck to paycheck so the interruption to our income has been seriously hard to deal with. We're behind on our bills and need a bit of help to catch up. Our kids are in school virtually right now, and we can't get caught up on our electricity bill, which could interrupt their studies. I'm asking for help with this bill because we have to keep our kids in school right now.
I've been begging my doctor to let me return to work, and he finally cleared me to return. With the extra income I bring in, we will be able to sustain ourselves and pay our bills on time. I'm worried that if we lose service, my children won't be able to continue to go to school. They can't afford to get behind on their education because it's the only way to give them a successful future. Thank you for taking the time to consider my family and for your kindness and generosity.
