This person has left the following thank you note:

I am truly humbled by every single person who helped me in my time of need. This year has been hard not only for me but the entire world, and it means everything to me that I was able to get support from you all. I love each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much you kind and generous souls!

I'm a Full-Time Student and a Part-Time Worker Who Lost Hours to COVID. I Need Help Making Rent!

My Story:

I'm a part-time worker and a full-time college student. While attending community college, I also work part-time at a fast-food restaurant to make sure that I have enough to get by on while attending school. I'm putting myself through school in order to eventually graduate with a degree in psychology. Putting myself through school while also working has not been easy, but I know that hard work always pays off.

Recently, it has been really difficult to support myself as I continue school. I lost a lot of hours at my job due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and that has really cut into my income. I'm having a really hard time paying my rent right now, and I really need some relief while I search for a different job with more hours.

I'm never one to sit around and hope that my situation improves, so I have taken the initiative of searching for a new job that will ultimately improve my situation in the long run. However, in the meantime, I am asking for help with my rent to tide me over and keep me in school until I can find another job. I'm confident that if I can get this assistance, then I will be able to get back on track and sort my situation out. Thank you so much for your consideration, compassion, and support during this hard time.
