I'm Trying My Best to Take Care of My Large Family, but I Missed Work and Need Help with a Bill!
My Story:
I'm a married mother of six kids. I've got 5 energetic, spunky girls ages 12, 10, 8, and 2 years old, as well as a 1-year-old. I also have a 6-year-old mama's boy. I love all of my children, and while its hard work taking care of them all and balancing their needs, I absolutely love them and wouldn't trade motherhood for anything. I have worked full-time as a medical assistant for the last 7.5 years, and my husband works as a salesman in a local shoe store. We are also dog people and have two crazy puppies, a husky and a boxer, at home.
We've always been able to pay our bills, even though we live paycheck to paycheck; however, we've faced a lot of interruptions to our income lately. Since the pandemic began, I have had to quarantine three separate times because of the high-risk environment that I work in, each time without pay. Furthermore, schools being closed also forced me out of work for about a month because I had to stay home to take care of the kids. Losing my income has made it extremely difficult to take care of all of our bills, and we are behind on our electric bill as a result.
Getting our electric bill paid is extremely important not only because winter will be here before we know it, but three of my children are asthmatic and require nightly nebulizer treatments. Without electricity they could become really sick. Therefore, I am asking for help with paying out electricity bill for this month. It will keep my family safe and healthy while also getting us back on track financially. Thank you for your kindness and support during this difficult time.
