We're a Large Family Struggling After Covid-19. We Need Help with an Electric Bill to Get on Track!
My Story:
My household consists of myself, my partner, and our five children. We're a large family, but we have always made ends meet, and we've always been very tight-knit and close. I have two children who are my own, and my partner has four children from a previous relationship, the oldest of whom lives outside our home. We recently obtained custody of his four children after it became clear that their biological mother was unable to care for them. We absolutely love all of our children as if they were all our own, and we couldn't be more thankful to have all of them living with us.
Like many families, we have struggled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and we were out of work for several months as a result of the crisis. We managed our bills fairly well during that time and have only fallen behind on our electric bill; however, that one bill has really been keeping us behind lately, and we can't find a way to catch up.
We are asking for help with this electric bill because if we can just take care of it, then we will be back on track. My partner and I are both back to work, and our kids should be heading back to school soon too. We work full-time, and we work hard. We will definitely be able to get to a point of self-sufficiency if we can get this bill taken care of. Thank you so much for your support and generosity during these chaotic times.
