My Son Was Sick and I Missed Work Caring for Him. I'm Behind on Rent; Please Help!
My Story:
I'm a single mom with four wonderful children. I get up and go to work everyday for them, and I love them with my whole heart. In my free time, I really just love to spend time with my kids relaxing. I work full-time at a memory care facility, assisting the elderly. I love my job, and I feel like I'm making a difference every day I go to work.
It has been difficult to make ends meet lately though because one of my children got sick recently. For a while I was really afraid for my child's well-being, but, thankfully, they got better and are doing okay now. However, I was out of work with no pay for almost a month while I was caring for my sick child. This has caused me to get behind on some of our bills, and I'm worried that we will be too overwhelmed if we don't get some assistance soon.
The most pressing bill that I absolutely have to take care of is rent, and I have to get it taken care of soon. I know that if I can't get on top of paying my rent, we will be evicted. That is why I am humbly asking for help with that bill.
My kid's and I are facing homelessness, and if I lose my home, I will also lose my job. We are staring over the edge of a cliff here and need some help to get us away from that edge. This assistance would keep us in our home and get us back on track, plain and simple. Thank you for your support during this difficult time and for your empathy.
