Our Car was Totaled and My Girls Need Help If We're Going to Keep Our Home!

My Story:

Two years ago, I met the love of my life. She has two twin daughters, so I knew then and there that they were a package deal, and we've been a family ever since. My girlfriend's children are the absolute smartest girls I've ever known, and they love to play sports outside of school, specifically volleyball. I am the main provider for my household, and I work for a construction company. Thankfully, I have been able to keep working through this pandemic, even if the projects have slowed down a bit.

However, our financial situation took a turn for the worst when our car was totaled not too long ago. Since then, we have had to Uber everywhere, and my girls go to school about 30 minutes away from where we live, so this has cut into our income pretty severely. I have no choice but to send the girls to school is draining our money and has made it difficult to keep up with all of our bills. I have been able to set up payment programs for our electricity and utility bills but have been unable to do so with rent. We aren't late on it yet, but the late fees will begin to kick in soon, and those will undoubtedly bury us.

On behalf of my household, my girlfriend and her daughters, I am asking for help with our rent for this next month. I have worked hard my entire life to be able to provide for myself, and I have worked hard for the past two years to provide for my household, so it is taking everything in me to ask for help right now. What truly brings me to this point now is that I can tell the girls know I am struggling. They may be young, but they are wise. It really broke me the other day when they said that they could get jobs to help out, and I know that they mean it too because they have good souls. I know what this help would mean to me, but, more importantly, I know what it would mean to them. Thank you for taking the time to consider our application.
