Covid-19: My 3 Boys and I Need Your Help with Rent Please!
My Story:
I am a single mother of three boys; they are 11 years old, 7 years old, and 2 years old. they are pretty typical boys who love to play outside, read books, and color. I am a patient service representative at a medical imaging company.
While I earn enough to pay for basic monthly expenses, we do generally live paycheck to paycheck, often with little to put away in savings. Back when Covid-19 first spiked, I was furloughed and did not have much, if anything, saved to prepare for that. During that time, I was asked to move out of the house that we were renting and had to use all of what I had saved to rent us an apartment. Now with all of it adding up I am playing catch up and struggling to pay for everything.
I am asking you all for help to pay my rent which will be late soon. I am trying to come up with the full amount, but my kids also have needs that I have to fulfill. I am worried that I could lose our apartment and have to move or, even worse, be put out on the streets.
Your help would ensure that my children and I can stay in our home while I rebuild our savings and get back to work. I know that we can make it through this difficult period as long as we can get a little relief from this financial burden. Your help would keep us out of the cycle of poverty, and it would ensure that this does not happen to us again. Thank you for your support during these difficult times.
