I cant express enough how thankful my family is for the donations youve made! Its really amazing how giving people have been in these uncertain times the world is going through, and Ive made sure to teach my children how important it is to give when you can. Everyone has a story and needs help sometimes, so thank you again for your help! I hope soon we will be able to pay it forward! I will keep everyone in our thoughts and prayers! God bless you! My Husband is Back to Work, but if We Can't Pay One Month's Rent NOW, We'll be Homeless This Week!

My Story:

My Husband and I have a very large family at home. Our household consists of two adults and six kids, ages 16, 9, 6, 4, and 2 years old, as well as a 9-month-old. We are also a multicultural family; I am white, and my husband is Samoan. We try to teach our kids that, regardless of our differences, we are all on this planet together and we all deserve kindness, love, and respect. Everyone has a story, and you never know what another person may be going through. I am currently taking classes online, trying to help my oldest 3 with their online schooling and trying to keep the youngest three occupied at the same time! My husband works at an aerospace manufacturing company, and we have our family time on the weekends when he is not working.

Since the pandemic hit, my husband's job had to cut everyone's hours and extended layoffs to a lot of employees. We decided to use his Bonding FMLA for the stay-at-home order, and unfortunately, we have had a hard time keeping up with our bills on just the amount he receives. We are currently behind rent, but now that he is back at work, we are going to be able to catch up on our bills and get back on track if we can just get help catching up on our overdue rent before it's too late.

We can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I know that if we can just get back to current on our bills, then we will be fine. My husband's hours have returned to normal, and he is back to earning enough to take care of all of our bills, but we need help to get caught up. Your help would give us the fresh start that we need to make it after this pandemic. Thank you for your understanding and support during these extremely difficult times.
