Single Mother Had Hours Cut and Needs Help with Her Rent
My Story:
I am a single mother to a beautiful 5-year-old girl. My daughter has recently started kindergarten virtually and she loves it so much, even though I'm sure she wishes she were in the classroom. My daughter loves to play with action figures and dinosaurs, all while wearing her favorite princess dress. I am a full-time technical support agent and, in my spare time, also like to do some baking. Due to the pandemic, my hours have been cut by over 50% and it has been hard to stay afloat this month because of this sudden income change.
I really need help paying my rent, and while I have been able to make arrangements for most of my bills this month, my rent payment is currently late. I'm worried that me and my daughter will lose our home if I cannot find a way to pay the rent. My daughter and I just got into our new home and I already have a plan set to get us back on track financially, but we really need help this month in order to get back on track.
If we were able to get this one-time assistance to pay our rent, then we would be able to catch up on the rest of our bills as well. I recently started a new position at work, giving me full-time hours again so that me and my daughter will be right on track to becoming financially stable again. I know that we can make it through this situation for sure if we can get the help we need. Thank you all for your consideration.
