Coronavirus: I'm a Single Mom Who Needs One-time Help with Rent Please
My Story:
I am a single mother of an exceptionally beautiful daughter who just had my first grandchild, which brings me joy daily. I also have a 1-year-old fur baby who is very energetic and territorial, but still I love him. I was working full-time as Member Services Representative, and my roommate does not work because he is disabled and receives SSI benefits.
We are basically picking up from the month when the pandemic started and are trying to cover our rent the best way we can. I had suffered a medical setback and was hurt on a train on my way to work. My back is out or order, so to speak, and I have been going to physical therapy for over 8 weeks now. I am blessed because I will soon start a remote position that will allow me to work from home. However, my rent is already late, and I cannot afford it yet because I have not gotten a paycheck. I need your help to cover my rent so that I am not evicted before I can get a paycheck.
This emergency help will get us current on our rent, and then when next month rolls around, we will be better able to pay it on our own. We plan on saving money again like we have always done pre-Covid because when the pandemic hit our savings was completely wiped out. I want to thank you all for reading our story, and I want to thank you all, in advance, for your help.
