I want to start by saying thank you all for taking the time to help me during this pandemic. This is truly a blessing due to the fact I was close to loosing everything and modest needs have went beyond to help me be able to keep my housing. I honestly have been beyond stressed out thinking that I would end up homeless. And now I can rest knowing that I will have another chance to keep fighting to move forward. I know everyone has experience some type of rock bottom or hardship and when you have no options you may feel giving up may be easier but every fight is worth fighting. so thank you all so much again for keeping me in the race and giving me the strength.
Covid-19: Essential Worker Needs Emergency Rent Assistance
My Story:
I am single, living alone. I currently work part-time doing security.
Since the pandemic started, there has been less and less work and now I am struggling financially and I am not able to make the ends meet. Ringing in the same money I was before to where now I�m not able to afford to live. I am not able to purchase food and afford my bills and utilities. I now need Modest Needs help paying my one month of rent.
This funding would bring so much relief to be able to keep my apartment and a chance to be able to rest knowing I won�t end up on the streets. It would give me the chance to catch up with other bills and finding a way to get food for coming weeks. Thank you.
