We're Furloughed and Can't Pay Our Rent. Please Help!

My Story:

My husband and I have been married for four blissful years. We love spending time together just enjoying the little things life has to offer. We live a modest life but feel fortunate that we both work for Disney and enjoy our jobs a lot.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, times have been hard. We were both furloughed in March and have many new unexpected bills. My husband was hospitalized with acute pancreatitis, and we now have thousands in medical bills after his weeklong stay in the ICU. We do not have savings to rely on and rent is right around the corner, but we cannot afford to pay it. We need your help with paying our rent because we are unable to make the payment and fear that we may be evicted, leaving us homeless. We have to choose paying for my husband's medical bills, some new costly prescriptions, and buying groceries over making a payment towards our rent.

Having this one-time assistance from you all to help pay our rent would allow us some much-needed relief from our financial situation, restoring our sense of hope and security now that we have a place to live. We are both looking forward to being able to return to work as soon as possible. We are so grateful to you all for the charity you have shown towards us and towards others who need help as well.
