I've Been On My Own Since Age 18, but Thanks to COVID, I'm About to Lose My Home. Please Help!
My Story:
I am a single woman, who just turned 29, and I have been fully supporting myself since I was 18 years old. I grew up in the country on a farm but moved to the big city when I was 18. I love spending time with my nieces and nephews, and it means the world to me that they look up to me so much. I always try to set the best example possible for them.
I have been living paycheck to paycheck since I was 18 and have been able to support myself completely during that time. However, I have not been able to save much money, and when the pandemic hit, it completely changed everything. I am out of work and have little income right now, so I am struggling to get my bills paid. I have reached a point now where I have to pay my rent soon in order for me not to get evicted. I need your help paying my one month of rent.
I want to keep my credit in good standing so that I can continue to survive and get the things I need, but if I am evicted it will ruin my credit for sure. More importantly than that, if I am evicted, I really do not have anywhere to go and will be homeless. I want to get back to providing for myself like I have been doing for my entire adult life, but I cannot do that without your help. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering my application for funding.
