We are so thankful for all the help you have given us. This has given us such hope of all the good in the world. Our Terminally Ill Daughter Needed Urgent Medical Care. Now We're Facing Homelessness
My Story:
I am a stay at home wife with two children, and my husband works as a welder. Our daughter is very girly, loves her bows, dresses, and Minnie Mouse especially. Our son is two and is a borderline autistic child. He is your typical boy; he loves trucks and dinosaurs. Both of my children love being outside and swimming. I love my family so much and would sacrifice anything to make sure that they are healthy and safe.
Our daughter has a terminal illness, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, so we travel to Florida every four months to receive lifesaving medicine for her, and it has helped her disease stop progressing.
While my husband has not been laid off, a lot of jobs have been cut by his employer, causing work to slow down. His paychecks have been smaller than usual, but we have been able to work with his salary until this month. We have to travel to Florida for our daughter's life saving medicine this month, so the cost of our daughter's medical treatment has forced us to fall behind on our house payment. It pains me deeply to have to pick between our daughter's life or keeping our home, but that's what we have been forced to do.
At this point, we have no other option but to ask for help with our house payment. Help with her medical bills would allow our daughter to continue to receive treatment without the threat of losing our home looming over us. We hate to ask for help. We are hardworking people, and we have always done our best to give our daughter the best life she can possibly have. It is impossible for us to choose between our daughter's medical care and keeping our home because without either we will suffer tremendously. This help would ensure that we never have to make that choice, that our family never has to suffer. Thank you for reading our story and for your generosity in advance.
