Coronavirus: Single Mom of Six Needs Rent Help
I am a single mother of six, and I am currently working in a retail pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. On top of all that, I am also a full-time student obtaining my Associate of Science Degree in Medical Billing & Coding. I have three girls and three boys. My two oldest daughters have graduated, moved out, and started their own lives so now only my youngest daughter, age 16, lives with me and my three boys. My three boys are 15 years old, 12 years old, and 9 years old, and they all love to play sports and video games together.
I can generally make ends meet by living paycheck to paycheck, and I also get assistance for my 16-year-old daughter--due to some mental health issues she has--from SSI disability. Recently, my car needed some unexpected repairs, and it put me behind on rent. I need help if I am going to catch up on my rent.
This funding will impact my household in the long-term by allowing my family to continue to live in our home. This will allow me to get back on my feet financially because I will be all caught up on rent and I will be able to get back to a point of self-sufficiency. The unexpected expenses have really set us back recently and it would be a blessing to receive some help in order to get back on track. Thank you all for your understanding and for your generosity.
