Coronavirus: Hardworking Couple Needs Rent Help
My Story:
I am married to a partner I met in Brazil. We moved from IN to start a new life together. My husband and I enjoy spending quality time together at home. I was working for a vacation rental company until I was furloughed due to Covid-19. My husband is an installer for a Hurricane Shutter company.
I was furloughed from my job working in the Vacation Rental Industry. This was my main source of income. Even though my husband is still working, this is not enough to make ends meet. Now, the company he is employed for is requiring him to provide his own work vehicle and tools, which was a huge unexpected expense. I requested to borrow funds from my mother that is on a fixed income but she is unable to fulfill my needs at this time due to supporting my nephew. We desperately need Modest Needs help paying our one month of rent.
This funding will help us with our living expense at least until I am called back to work. I never ask for help but this is a last resort. Thank you.
