Coronavirus: Pregnant Single Mom of 3 Needs Help With Rent
My Story:
I am a single mother to two daughters currently, with a third on the way soon! My oldest daughter is 6 and she is currently being home-schooled due to the pandemic; my middle child is 10 months old and is already learning how to walk. I am all set to give birth in late August, and I could not be more excited.
However, I am also very worried because my hours at work have recently been cut due to the pandemic. I work for the university hospital and have been cut down from full-time to part-time. I am not covered by unemployment either, being that I am still technically employed. This situation is difficult, and often I have had to choose between feeding my family or paying our rent. The choice was obvious, but that has left me behind on our rent and we need help catching up again.
This funding would allow us to catch up and it would ensure that my daughters have a roof over their heads. I also want to be able to provide a stable foundation to my newborn child, and I want all of my children to have a safe home to live in, especially during this pandemic. Any help you could provide us with would give my family the stability that we need to build a happy and loving home in the near future. Thank you all so much for your support.
