Coronavirus: Parents with Medically Fragile Son Need Rent Help

My Story:

We are a family of 3. We have been married 7 years. My husband is a USN Veteran. He is an essential worker, while i stay home to take care of our medically fragile 5 year old son. Our son has a rare genetic condition, pancreatic enzyme insufficiency and a feeding button with language and other intellectual delays. He loves Trolls and superheroes.

This current situation has affected us financially and medically. My husband has lost income with his job, we live paycheck to paycheck. A week before our son was to begin an intensive food therapy, the hospital closed off that part of the hospital. Delaying his feeding progress so he can have his button removed as soon as possible. Because of the mileage on our one car, for appointments and hospital trips, we had to get new tires, unexpected expense with the current hardships already. We are askingModest Needs for help with our rent as our state is allowing eviction filings.

This help for our family would greatly bless us so we can continue to provide the best care for our son and allow us to create a sense of stability for him in a world of hospital visits, medications and surgeries. We are confident that our son is where he needs to be because the tremendous progress he has made in 10 months. This would allow us to get on top of all our bills, as the rent is the largest bill we have. My husband is continuing to work, but it's not enough fast enough. Thank you.
