Coronavirus: Family of Five Needs Help with Rent

My Story:

I am a wife and a mother to three wonderful, beautiful children. I have two daughters, ages 5 and 4, who are both the sweetest, helpful, and genuinely ambitious kids I could ever ask for. I also have a 15-month-old son who just took his first steps recently! All of my kids love spending time with their father. He suffers from a mental disability, but that has never stopped him from being the best father that he can possibly be. We have also recently added a puppy to our household, and she is a wonderful addition to the family; I pray that we can keep her because my children have fallen in love with her.

While I am truly blessed to have a family as loving and tight knit as mine, I have to admit that times have been tough for us lately. The pandemic has taken its toll on our finances, seeing me laid-off from my job a server at a local hotel. I was a large source of income for our family and now that we have lost that income we are struggling badly. I am also needed at home right now because I have to take care of our children and my husband, so it has been hard to look for work recently. Right now, we are really struggling to pay our rent and we need help if we�re going to keep a roof over our heads.

This grant would mean the world to me because it would allow me to keep our family safe and sheltered until this pandemic is over. I desperately want to get back to work, but I have to take care of my family right now. Thank you all so much for understanding my situation and for considering my family for your donation.
