Coronavirus: Laid Off Father and Immunocompromised Mom of 2 Need Help With Rent
My Story:
I am married to my lovely wife and we have two beautiful daughters age 2 and 1. My oldest daughter loves to sing, dance and play with other people. My youngest daughter just learned to walk, even though she is very shy, she loves puzzles and books. My wife has a autoimmune diseases and is in high risk category from Covid-19. I am a chef and I worked 7 days a week before the pandemic started.
I am currently jobless and have major hardship. I usually work 140-160 hours a month as a chef but the restaurant closed its door due to the pandemic. My paycheck usually covers my rent and juggle some of the leftover to utilities or food. Life been very hard after losing the my job. My father in law had a stroke in January and. then a major leakage from upstairs and ruin our apartment and was displaced for over two weeks. After that, our car got totaled while parked outside. Then our whole family got sick because mold started growing inside our apartment. We now need Modest Needs help to pay for our rent.
This funding will help us family from being evicted and will help our family until I can find a new job. Your help can help my wife get medicines for her autoimmune disease and help my kids buy some essential supplies. I hope my kids will see this great example of support and help from others and one day my kids can make a difference to others by helping the. Thank you.
