This person has left the following thank you note:
My name is Angila Hale. I'm 33 years old. I have a daughter that's 8 that lives with me and a son that's 12 years old that lives in Tennessee. I move to Charlottesville Virgina from Bristol Tennessee to better my life and pursue my career in the nursing field. Me and my daughter skie enjoy going hiking, fishing, and anything out doors. I already have my PCA nursing license and I'm taking classes to get my CNA license now. I should be finished with my classes by mid October.once I finish this course I want to continue on to get my RN licence. I've requested help from modest needs and there doner's because I needed help paying on my rent, and for a car. Me and Skie live about 5 miles away from any bus stop so it's really hard on us. And the worst thing is I don't have any family or know anyone here. If you was to fund me the money it would be a tremendous help. I would be able to layyrent up and maybe put a down payment on a car for us. And maybe even put some on my tuition. We desperately need your assistance, I'm to the point I don't know what else to do. And I don't k ow any where else to ask for help. The funds will also provide me with schooling and the training I need to get a better job.and will give my Skie a better life.it would give us transportation so that we dont have to walk 5 miles. But if you don't Grant us the grant money then I'm afraid I want be able to provide for my child, continue my career,or provide transportation for us. I would like to thank modest need and it's donor's for putting their time and effort into not only my situation but everyone else's as well. I thank you for help me better my life and my daughter's life as we'll.Im grateful that there is people out there in this world that cares about not only there self's but other people as well.Thank you so much for everything. You all are angels. thank you for all you do.
Coronavirus: A Family of 3 Needs Rent Help
My Story:
I am married to a wonderful loving husband- we do not have any children together, but he has an 18 year old son and I have a 8 year old daughter, which lives with us. She loves to do gymnastics read books in her favorite thing is to sing. She has an amazing voice. I was working full-time as an at home care nurse and I also work at Applebee's as a waitress and my husband was working for Bell construction during the expansion on to the UVA medical center until he got sick. He went to the hospital cause it we thought he had hurt his back that kind of find out he had an infection growing beside his spine so that put him in the hospital for 4 weeks. With all that me getting put out of work due to Covid-19. It has been a real struggle for me working two jobs a husband sick and trying to take care of my eight year old that put us in financial hole.
Between the both of us we are usually on time with all of our bills, can we do still live paycheck-to-paycheck. With my husband being sick and me working two jobs I didn't think to set aside any money. Then when Covid-19 put us out of work paint and expected financial bind on us. If we don't come up with some money on our rent we are going to be homeless with our 8 year old daughter.
This funding will help my family bring on rent payments up-to-date in would save us from being put onto the street with an 8 year old. It will restore our sense of stability. What's we going to start receiving our unemployment benefits, we will start putting a little money each weeks benefits to build emergency savings fund, so when something goes wrong next time we will be prepared. Your help will make a long-lasting impact on our family, and it will set a wonderful example for our daughter. I would like for her to see and now that there is good people in this world and that there is help whenever you need it no matter what. Thank you.
