Coronavirus: No Work, Please Help With Car Payment
My Story:
I am 33 years old and recently lost my job as an oil and gas sales representative. In my spare time, I am an artist and I love studying and creating abstract art. Currently, I rent a room from a friend who is helping me out for a few months until I get back on my feet after getting out of an abusive relationship.
After moving out of my last living situation due to abuse, I was struggling to get on my feet, then the industry I worked in--oil and gas--crashed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I need this grant to help with my car payment because I am afraid my car will get repossessed or that a missed payment will affect my credit. Also, if my insurance gets canceled, then I will not be able to drive to search for work.
This will bring me up to date on my bills and it will help me establish a new sense of independence after the abuse and financial instability I have suffered through. Recently, my friend has demonstrated to me the importance of helping others by allowing me to stay with them while I get back on my feet and I recognize the importance of helping someone in order to help everyone. Thank you all for your consideration of my application.
