Coronavirus : Laid off. Need Rent Help
My Story:
I am an Engineering Graduate student. I have always worked hard for everything I have an and believe my education is my most valuable asset. I have worked in the service industry while in school for the past 6 years. I love putting a smile on someones face and providing a personal experience while serving them as my guest.
Like many others, I have been temporarily laid off from my job due to COVID-19. This past month I was unable to pay for rent and I am down to my last funds for groceries. At the end of this month, addition to rent, I will owe two months of car payments, insurance, phone and internet bills, credit card bills, and utility bills. I am asking Modest Needs for assistance with the portion of rent that I am not able to cover myself.
Being able to pay the entire amount owed in rent will qualify me to resign my lease once in ends in May. If I continue to fall short on rent, I will not qualify to resign and will lose my place to live. Thank you.
