The last 7 years have been really rough on our family. We've lost our parents. And chose bankruptcy attempting a clean start. We got the discharge by the end of January, and then COVID-19... My wife was laid off on April 10th and is still without a job. Thank God I'm able to work from home. Then I stumble with Modest Need at my work page of resources, and being honest didn't think anything was going to happen. I sent every document on April and almost forgot about it. Coronavirus: Family Struggling and Needs Help With Mortgage
My Story:
I am a married father of 2 girls and a boy. I work as a full time Creative (trainer) in the Apple Store and my wife is a Graphic Designer and Social Media Strategist for a Beauty Supply Chain.
Last year we went through bankruptcy and before it was completely approved, my mom passed suddenly. That triggered a lot of traveling expenses and lodging for me in my family, due to the funeral and burial. In January I ended up being hospitalized because of a psychotic event I went through the day my mom passed. I lost my car recently so I have to carpool with friends. My wife was laid off two weeks ago due to Coronavirus pandemic and she will no longer be receiving her weekly salary.
This funding will bring a big relieve with all the tension we are going through. My wife has been tackling some Graphic Design jobs and I have been looking for freelance graphic design jobs for myself. I am homeschooling my three kids because of all the Coronavirus crisis and it has been really hard. This funding can bring closure to my moms passing and give us hope to focus in our mortgage.
