Coronavirus: Student and Server Needs Help
My Story:
I am a 26 year old graduate student studying at USF for my Masters in Sustainable Policy. My boyfriend lives with me and is working in the sports broadcasting industry. I take care of my parents who are unemployed and ill, and do everything I can to help them. I was working as a server but am now out of work due to Coronavirus.
We live paycheck to paycheck, so this virus is extremely difficult for our family. There is so much stress on the fact that my boyfriend's income is the only one, and he's even on the verge of being let go. We need Modest Needs' help to pay our rent for just one month so we can focus on supplies and our water and utilities.
This funding will bring us current, just for the month. It will relive some of the stress that we are experiencing right now so that I can focus on making sure that my sick parents stay at home during all of this. We can take things day by day, but long term I can focus on school, job searching and resume building. This will ensure I can get a good job upon graduation and save for future unexpected events. Thank you.
