6 Surgeries in 2 Years Caused Job Loss, Please Help Save My Home
My Story:
I am a single woman who has some years of bad luck. I have had over 6 surgeries in the last two years which required long painful therapy sessions. I also have lost three jobs due to my medical condition. I have had both knees replaced, 2 meniscus repairs, kidney stone surgery and just recently a Bladder sling insertion surgery. I also have 3 beautiful grandchildren who I have come to love, nearly dropping my whole life in one state and moving near them. They are a set of twin boys, and a 3 year old love of my life princess.
I have taken care of myself since my divorce 10 years ago. I was injured on my last job which required a double knee replacement and two meniscus repair surgeries. I tried working after surgery, but my doctor told me that was not a good idea and he was right. I could not be on my feet for more than 30 minutes at a time. Soon after, I was discharged. I then continued physical therapy to the point I felt I could work. I missed a lot of days due to pain and swelling though. I then went to 3rd shift where it was less physically demanding. But, yet again I became ill and had to be hospitalized for 3 days and required a lengthy recovery. Because I wasn't there long enough I did not qualify for short term disability and lost my job. I really need help to pay one month of my rent.
This funding will bring me peace of mind and allow me to keep my home. I was offered a job working in Home Health Care where I would not have to be on my feet for long hours and try to work towards my dream, I would like to buy my own home. Thank you for taking time to read this and help me.
