I am a Single Mother Who Was Lost My Job. I Need Your Help With Rent While I Start My New Employment
My Story:
I'm a single mom to an amazing 12 year old girl. With all the trials we've been through she's an honors student with a great heart, always concerned about others more than herself. She is also artistic and has many awards and pieces of art submitted to the local museum.
After almost 4 years of working for a company, I was discharged. The company is hiring people half my age with no job skills or training and paying much less. I was dismissed with no warning and was very disappointed in the company for doing this. This left me with no income to pay rent. I am now working full time at a new job but still trying to catch up. I desperately need Modest Needs help for one month rent.
The funding will allow us to remain our house and not have to move to a shelter. We don't have any family so there are no other options for us. This funding will allow my daughter to stay at the school she prospers in. Sometimes there are people who care and can have positive impacts on our lives, hopefully this will be true so my daughter and myself can believe in good people again.
