I would like to thank all the kind people who helped our family in time of need. I do not like having to ask for help but sometimes you have to. God Bless all the people who sacrificed something to help us.
I Had an Emergency Hysterectomy & Couldn't Work. I'm Working Now But We Just Got an Eviction Notice.
My Story:
I just turned 50 years old and I live with my fiance who is 54 years old. He is a softball umpire and I provide tech support for cell phones and computers. It's just me and my fiance. We don't have anybody else we can count on or turn to if we have a financial emergency, and right now, we're having a serious emergency.
Not too long ago, I got sick & found out I was going to need surgery. I had the surgery, and the recovery took a little longer than they'd told me it would. I missed a lot of work, and we lost a lot our income that month.
Things were finally looking up until, in January, I went back to the doctor for a follow-up and found out I needed an immediate hysterectomy. The surgery was definitely unexpected, and it happened during the softball / baseball off season, when my fiancee also wasn't working. We went a month with almost no income, and even though I'm now back to work and my finace are now both working again, we're behind on our rent and have gotten an eviction notice. Without help, we're going to lose our apartment, and we don't have enough money to pay for past due rent on this place, and then first, last and a deposit on a new place - if anyone would even rent to us with an eviction on our record.
I really have no idea what we're going to do, but if you'd please help us catch up with our rent, this funding will help us get caught up and allow us to keep our home. I had enough stress going through surgery and suffering income loss, I cannot afford to lose my house too. For me, that would probably be too much. Thank you so much.
