Veteran and Single Mother Could Lose Home After Missing Time From Work To Care For Sick Child
My Story:
I am a single mother and a veteran. I have a 2 year old son who is the light of my life. He keeps me from giving up and always puts a smile on my face. I've been working from the age of 16 and have always been able to stay afloat, but life happened and I had nothing or no one to lean on.
My son was sick and he goes to a private home daycare. He couldn't be around the other kids, so I had to miss work to take care of him. After about a week of missing work, my sons sitter had a loss in her family and went out of town. My job doesn't have paid holidays as well so everything thing kind of went hand in hand and I fell behind due to so many days missing out of my paycheck. We need Modest Needs help with out rent.
This funding will remove the stress of being homeless and having to start over. It will allow me to keep my promise to my son to always protect him and keep a roof over his head. I am very grateful for your help.
