This December Was a Nightmare. Emergencies Took Everything I Had. I Need Help to Save My Home!
My Story:
I'm a single mom to 4 precious pooches: Victory Ann, Leon Redbud, Cheech Engelbert and Ruben Roy. All of my time is spent working full-time as a Paralegal and caring for / spending time with, my fur-babies.
I'm on a very strict budget, as I barely earn enough to pay for the basics. Most months, at least one expense has to be put on the back-burner, but I find myself in a TERRIBLE bind when multiple unexpected expenses turn up at once. That's what happened to me in December. All at once, I had to get 'surprise' oral surgery (not a great surprise for me, for sure!), which caused me to miss several (unpaid) days of work. Then, one of my dogs had to have a rather expensive allergy shot. And then at Christmas I became ill with ear infections and bronchitis. This caused me to have to go to the doctor, (I don't have health insurance), have prescriptions filled, and once again miss many several days of work. Miraculously, I was able to pay for these expenses, and that's a good thing because ALL of them were urgent. But in order to pay these bills, I had to miss a rent payment.
I'm now one payment behind (for January) and haven't been able to make a payment at all this month. My landlord is really angry and talking about evicting me, and I honestly don't know how I'm going to be able to pay TWO rental payments in one month because I don't make that much money. So I'm here hoping someone will understand and help me catch up on my rent so that my life can get back to normal. Receiving your help with rent would be a great relief, and a tremendous and greatly appreciated help. Thank you so much!
