This person has left the following thank you note:

User-submitted image - Click to see real sizeTo God be the glory! I had all but given up on this process and moved on to other areas of assistance. But through faith and God's people being His hands and feet I am rejoicing right now! I want to thank each one of you who chose to sacrifice your finances to help a total stranger. My prayer is that God restore to you 100 fold what you sowed into my life! I have always believed in the power of people and this reassures me of that. My family and I are now able to breathe a little bit better knowing that a major financial obligation will be taken care of thanks to you all! Again, my heart is full right now and I feel so joyful. I only wish I could thank you all in person! Please accept this as my family and me giving you all the biggest hug possible right now! Thank you, thank you thank you! May He keep you and bless you all the rest of your days! Stay safe and Peace be unto you!

Single Father of 3 Had Unexpected Loss of Wages

My Story:

I am a recently divorced father of three. My children are 16, 15 and 13 years old. My 13 year old just celebrated a birthday last week. They all have big hearts and really enjoy being helpful. My son(16) is driving now and preparing for drivers ed! I am a Healthcare IT Consultant, specializing in training hospital staff on EMR/EHR system.

I usually am able to pay the bills with no problem, but this last project vendor had a discrepancy with our contracted hours. The pay rate was adjusted due to consultants not being apart of a post specified in go-live. This was not the actual contract, and because of it we were not payed our remaining wages for the project. I don't return to work until February 7th. I need Modest Needs' help to pay rent for February.

I am unable to make this payment and the landlord already extended me the month of January. The funding will bring me current for the month and help me avoid eviction. I return to work on February 7th. which would put things back on track. I am truly inspired by your program and no matter the outcome will become a donor. This experience really pulls on my heart for giving and helping others in need.
