Rescued Homeless Puppy: Need Help To Keep Lights On
My Story:
I am a 29 years old single woman, who works full-time at a doggy daycare. I have always been an animal lover, and have worked with dogs for about five years. More recently I rescued a barely three month old puppy abandoned on the streets. His name is Fergus, and when I found him he was malnourished and rummaging through an empty grocery bag. Today, Fergus is thriving healthy puppy, who loves fetch, tug of war, and puzzles.
I earn enough to cover my rent expenses and utilities, but not much more after that. Money is tight but I try my best to make it stretch until my next pay period. However, taking in a puppy comes with vet expenses I was not prepared for. Though I had the option to try and get Fergus adopted, he found comfort and safety being with me. I paid the expenses to ensure he got healthy but doing so depleted my funds. I have fallen behind on my electric bill and need your help to catch up.
I have an overwhelming fear that if I do not get caught up I will fall further behind and eventually get evicted. I know having a pet is not a necessity, but Fergus has changed my life for the better. I am healthier mentally, physically, and emotionally because of him. With your help I will be able to save up for any unforeseen expenses in the future. The impact this will have on my life will be great. Your willingness to empathize with one's circumstances, not matter what it is, will be something I will always use in my life. The generosity you offer has inspired me to give the same generosity to others.
