Husband & father of two little kids on sick leave needs urgent help with mortgage payment
My Story:
I am a married father of two. We moved to our dream home a few years ago and it was the best thing that happened to us as a family. I work full-time as a dialysis technician, helping people who have end-stage kidney failure. I am the only one working at this time and my wife stays home taking care of our 3 months old and 5 years old sons. She was planning to start working last month but unfortunately, she has to take care of me also while we are going through this hardship.
We have managed our finances so we can always pay for our monthly bills on time. In spite of our best efforts and responsible budgeting, we were not sufficiently prepared for the financial hardship that occurred when I have rushed to the hospital 4 weeks ago. I was admitted for 5 days due to severe gastrointestinal bleeding and underwent an Endoscopy to have it banded and removed. After leaving the hospital I lost consciousness again 24 hours after discharge and was back to the hospital for another sever bleed. I stayed for another 5 days in 2 different hospitals and went under two more Endoscopy sessions, extensive testing, and I was also given 3 pints of blood. After spending a total of 10 days at the hospital, I was able to go home, but remain under strict follow-ups from my primary physician and other specialists.. I have been off work since October 13th and I am not expected to go back to work till November 18th with restrictions. We are in desperate need of help for our Mortgage payment, to get us through this unexpected hardship.
Your assistance will keep us afloat while I heal and prepare to go back to work. This funding will restore our confidence, and help relieve the stress and worry that has been growing over the last few weeks. It will mean so much to us to know other people cared and helped to make sure my family's needs were met during this challenging time. I went through a similar situation in 2016 and I got help through Modest Need Foundation which helped me to stand up on my feet again and save my family and our house from financial turmoil.
