College Student Needs Our Help With Rent After Job Change and Relocating

My Story:

I am a single college student living alone. I am 21 years old and very interested in Social work. I want to help kids who have been in similar situations to mine. I�ve been in multiple foster homes as well as a group home growing up. I did eventually get adopted. Both of my foster parents passed away the week after my 19th birthday. I just want to make kids feel like they are loved and wanted in this world. That�s what I am passionate about. One day I hope to open up a group home.

This summer I moved to Atlanta to stay with my sister and brother in law who are older and well off in life. My plan was to get on my feet and get my own place there. Unfortunately, my family decided to kick me out and they were the last piece of family I had. So I left my job and relocated back to Tallahassee because housing is cheaper here. I recently found a job but I have been trying to play catch up with my bills since the setback with relocating and gaps in employment. I make enough at my job now to cover my bills but trying to catch up with past due bills and with late fees piling up it has been very difficult. If I am evicted I will be homeless and have no where to go. I�m trying so hard to get on track in life. I need Modest Needs help to help me with one month rent.

This funding would help me so so much long term. I will be caught up on bills, I won�t be evicted and it will allow me to start saving money for emergency situations. I would be beyond thankful and blessed if you guys are able to help me out. This is the exact hand up that someone in my position needs to catalyst back to self- sufficiency. Thank you.
